When to say yes: A ‘Year of Yes’ may need a no or two
Young performers face a multitude of decisions as they embark on their educational careers. So the prospect of being cast in an opera or musical seems like the easiest decision to make—if you’re offered a role, you should smile, be grateful, and say, “Yes.” Right? Not necessarily.
